For three full cycles, the homepage was a ticker, a chart, and a buy link.<\/p>\n<p>By late 2025 it was obvious what was actually working. Readers were not coming back for the chart. They were coming back for the wrap-up \u2014 the careful post-mortems of Curve and Yearn exploits, the patient explainers on EIP rollouts, the slow coverage of MiCA implementation across the EU and SEC enforcement in the US. The contract had done its job. The readership had outgrown it.<\/p>\n<p>In early 2026 the original contributors made the call: sunset the token, reopen the domain as an independent newsroom. <strong>HOGE Wire<\/strong> is what came out the other side. Same domain, same archive, different remit \u2014 clear, unsponsored reporting on crypto markets, on-chain infrastructure, and the rails between crypto and traditional finance.<\/p>\n<p>Nothing of the old site was destroyed. The 2021\u20132025 token landing page, every wrap-up, the team page, the original NFT drops \u2014 all of it is preserved at its original URL inside the archive. <a href=\"\/legacy-index.html\">\/legacy-index.html<\/a> still serves the original homepage as it appeared the day before the pivot. We are a new newsroom that happens to have history. We did not rewrite our history; we kept it.<\/p>\n<p>Today HOGE Wire publishes in ten locales \u2014 English at the root, German at <code>\/de\/<\/code> and <code>\/at\/<\/code>, French at <code>\/fr\/<\/code>, Italian at <code>\/it\/<\/code>, Danish at <code>\/dk\/<\/code>, Swedish at <code>\/se\/<\/code>, Finnish at <code>\/fi\/<\/code>, Norwegian at <code>\/no\/<\/code>, and Portuguese at <code>\/pt\/<\/code>. Each locale runs its own desk with its own editor. We do not auto-translate. Every story is rewritten for the locale it appears in.<\/p>\n<p>The newsroom funds itself through reader contributions, sponsored research disclosed at the top of every piece, and occasional affiliate links flagged with <code>rel=\"sponsored\"<\/code>. We do not run programmatic advertising. We do not sell newsletter subscriber lists. We do not accept paid placements as editorial.
