Bitget Referral Code (October 2026): Airdrops, Mystery Boxes and the Rules Behind Them
Last updated: October 27, 2026
A Bitget referral code ties your new account to the person who invited you and puts you both into Bitget’s referral tasks: complete a trading target within 15 days of signing up and you each receive crypto airdrops and Mystery Boxes. Bitget’s current referral campaign advertises Mystery Boxes worth up to 1,500 USDT each, though the value you actually get scales with your trading volume.
This page is for new users outside the countries Bitget excludes who want to know what the code really unlocks, how to apply it, and what Bitget charges. Everything below is checked against Bitget’s help centre, campaign page and Terms of Use (last updated 20 October 2026).
Two caveats come first. The referral has to be applied when you register; we found no official way to add one to an existing exchange account. And Bitget’s prohibited list is longer than most, covering the US, Canada, Germany, France, Thailand and Malaysia among others.
Invitees who register with a referral link or code and complete trading (and, in the current campaign, net deposit) tasks within 15 days receive crypto airdrops and Mystery Boxes alongside the referrer; Bitget's current referral campaign advertises Mystery Boxes worth up to 1,500 USDT each, with amounts tied to trading volume.
Paste it into Referral code field on the Bitget registration form, or a referral link. Not available in Bitget's Prohibited Countries, including the US and its territories, Canada, Austria, France, Germany, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus and sanctioned regions; KYC required. Verified October 27, 2026.

What the Bitget referral code gives you
Bitget’s Referral Program help article explains the structure. You register using a referral link or code, log in to the Bitget app, and reach a combined spot and futures trading volume within 15 days. Both you and the referrer then receive rewards based on the tasks completed. Bitget describes the rewards as BGB or BTC airdrops plus Mystery Boxes, and says referral rewards may also include USDT bonuses, coupons or trading fee discounts.
The help article (published in January 2025) gives the tiers that were live then: a $15 BGB airdrop each when the invitee’s valid trading volume reaches 500 USDT, another $15 at 50,000 USDT, and Mystery Boxes worth up to 500 USDT at the first tier and up to 1,000 USDT at the second. Bitget’s live referral campaign page has since moved to BTC airdrops and Mystery Boxes worth up to 1,500 USDT each, and adds a condition that the invitee keeps a net deposit for a set number of days within the 15-day window. The exact thresholds load in the app when you sign in, so read them there before you deposit.
“Up to” is the important phrase. A Mystery Box is a random draw from a range of rewards: USDT cash, futures trading bonuses, futures position boost vouchers, Earn APR vouchers and spot fee rebate vouchers worth a 30% rebate. Most of those are trading credit rather than withdrawable cash, and both the airdrops and the boxes must be claimed and opened in the app within 30 days or they expire.

How to use a Bitget referral code, step by step
- Check that your country is not on Bitget’s Prohibited Countries list (below). Bitget’s terms forbid using a VPN to get around location blocks.
- Open the referral link, or go to the Bitget website or app and choose Sign Up.
- Register with your email address or phone number and set a password.
- Enter the referral code in the referral code field on the registration form, or confirm that the code from your link is already filled in.
- Complete verification and finish registration. Treat the referral as locked from here.
- Complete identity verification (KYC) with a government-issued ID. Bitget requires it for full access to deposits, trading and withdrawals.
- Log in to the Bitget app, open the referral or rewards area, and check the trading and deposit targets and the 15-day deadline.
- Claim and open any airdrops and Mystery Boxes within 30 days.
Bitget’s help centre does not describe a way to bind a referral code to an exchange account after registration, so assume the sign-up form is your only chance. If the referral does not show up in your rewards area straight after registering, contact support before you start trading, not after the 15-day window has closed.
Eligibility, restrictions and fine print
Bitget’s Terms of Use (operated by BTG Technology Holdings Limited, last updated 20 October 2026) define Prohibited Countries as: Austria, Belarus, Canada, Cuba, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Iran, Japan, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, North Korea, Russia, Singapore, Sudan, the United States (including Puerto Rico, Guam, the US Virgin Islands, American Samoa, the Northern Mariana Islands and the US Minor Outlying Islands), Iraq, Libya, Yemen, Afghanistan, the Central African Republic, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Guinea-Bissau, Haiti, Lebanon, Somalia, South Sudan, Thailand, and the Crimea, Luhansk, Donetsk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions of Ukraine.
For our Southeast Asian readers, note that Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore are all on that list. India, Turkey, Indonesia, Vietnam, the Philippines and most of Latin America are not, but your own country’s rules still apply. Bitget may block access from prohibited countries and says this can affect your ability to manage open orders or positions, so do not rely on travelling with an account either.
- KYC: required for full use of the account; Bitget runs identity verification with a government-issued ID.
- Sanctions: Bitget also excludes persons on UN, US, UK and EU sanctions lists.
- Promotion rules: current referral campaign rewards cannot be combined with several other Bitget promotions that carry referral tasks; when you join a time-limited campaign, referrals in that period count towards it instead.
- Regional access: Bitget says its referral programme is available in all supported regions unless restricted by local regulation.
How Bitget works: fees, strengths and weak spots
Bitget’s trading fees FAQ (August 2026) gives a base rate of 0.10% for both makers and takers on spot, and 0.02% maker and 0.06% taker on futures. Holding BGB, Bitget’s own token, and switching on the “Use BGB to offset fees” setting lowers your spot fees, and VIP tiers and promotions can cut rates further. Check the live fee schedule for your account.
- Good at: a well-developed copy-trading product, a deep futures market, and a busy calendar of token launch and airdrop events.
- Weaker at: availability in parts of the EU and Asia, and spot fees that are higher than MEXC’s at entry level.
- Watch for: Mystery Box headlines. The 1,500 USDT figure is a ceiling; most boxes contain smaller trading vouchers.

Bybit is the closest rival for derivatives and copy trading and publishes fixed referral amounts rather than Mystery Box ranges. If you mainly want automated strategies, Pionex is built around bots from the ground up.
Is Bitget safe and legit?
Bitget is one of the larger offshore exchanges. It publishes a proof-of-reserves page and maintains a protection fund intended to cover user losses in extreme events, and it holds registrations in a number of countries through regional entities. As with any custodial exchange, those measures reduce risk rather than remove it: Bitget holds your keys while your funds are on the platform.
Keep long-term holdings in self-custody and only leave what you are actively trading on the exchange. If you are new to how exchange custody concentrates risk, our piece on custody concentration is a good primer, and our guide to crypto phishing in 2026 explains why fake “Bitget bonus” pages are so common.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a Bitget promo code for existing users?
No referral code can be added to an existing exchange account. Existing users get offers through Bitget’s Rewards Center, token launch events and VIP programme, and can refer friends themselves.
Can I add a Bitget referral code after signing up?
Bitget’s help centre does not describe any way to bind a referral code to an exchange account after registration. Enter it on the sign-up form, or use the referral link, before you finish creating the account.
What is the difference between a Bitget referral code, invite code and promo code?
A referral code and an invite (invitation) code are the same thing on Bitget: they link you to a referrer at sign-up. Promo codes and vouchers are separate rewards claimed in the Rewards Center.
What is in a Bitget Mystery Box?
A Mystery Box may hold USDT, futures trading bonuses, futures position boost vouchers, Earn APR vouchers or spot fee rebate vouchers worth a 30% rebate. Its maximum value depends on the invitee’s trading volume, and it must be opened within 30 days.
Is Bitget available in Thailand, Malaysia or the US?
No. Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, the United States and Canada are all on Bitget’s Prohibited Countries list, along with Germany, France, Austria and Japan.
How long do I have to complete Bitget referral tasks?
15 days from signing up. If the trading (and deposit) targets are not met in that window, neither you nor the referrer receives the associated rewards.
Risk warning: crypto assets are volatile and leveraged futures are high risk. Futures bonuses and position vouchers open leveraged trades that can lose value quickly. You can lose all the funds you deposit, so only trade what you can afford to lose.
